"Get the tourist stuff out the way."

I was talking to one of my co-workers to figure out what I should do on my day off. She told me to do all the tourist stuff first *cringe*, but it makes since. Most people come here to look at the different monuments, museums and other historical sites and leave it at that, but I have a strong feeling there is something deeper to D.C. I'll find out soon.
